Position Summary:
Engineer- Application Development will be responsible for making application software for PLC & will have hands-on experience with Mitsubishi PLCs (iQR, Q, FX series), HMI programming, and industrial communication protocols like CC-Link, CC-Link IE, Ethernet, and Modbus. You will be responsible for developing, programming, and optimizing PLC-based control systems, ensuring integration with VFDs, servos, and HMIs for automated processes. He should also be responsible to prove the application at site during installation, commissioning of automation systems and also support during life cycle of project and machines as needed.

PLC Programming & Application Development:
- Develop and implement PLC control applications using Mitsubishi PLCs (iQR, Q, FX series) based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Create and configure PLC programs for industrial automation processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Write and maintain ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams based on project requirements.
HMI Programming:
- Design and develop HMI applications for real-time monitoring and control, ensuring intuitive interfaces for machine operators.
- Integrate PLCs with HMI systems, configuring alarms, data logging, and user interaction features.
- Customize HMI screens for easy troubleshooting, operation, and efficiency.
Communication Protocol Integration:
- Implement and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as CC-Link, CC-Link IE, Ethernet, and Modbus for seamless communication between PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, and other devices.
- Ensure robust data exchange and connectivity between automation systems, devices, and external systems.
- Configure and integrate communication networks for industrial applications, ensuring low-latency and secure connections.
VFD and Servo Integration:
- Program and configure VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) and servo motors to control motor speed, torque, and position.
- Integrate VFDs and servos into PLC control systems, ensuring smooth control of machinery and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to drive performance and system integration.
System Debugging & Optimization:
- Perform testing and debugging of control systems, optimizing PLC programs and communication protocols for maximum performance and reliability.
- Conduct system troubleshooting to identify issues with PLCs, HMIs, drives, or communication networks and resolve them effectively.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure system uptime and troubleshoot issues that arise during operation.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs, HMI screens, network configurations, and system integrations.
- Provide comprehensive reports on system performance, modifications, and updates to the project team and clients.
Customer Support & Training:
- Provide technical support to customers during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases.
- Train customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of PLC-based automation systems.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in PLC Engineer & 8+ years for Assistant Manager application development, with a focus on Mitsubishi PLCs (iQR, Q, FX series).
- Strong programming skills in ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming.
- Hands-on experience with HMI programming and integration.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as CC-Link, CC-Link IE, Ethernet, and Modbus.
- Experience integrating VFDs and servo systems in PLC-controlled automation environments.
