About the job
We are on the lookout of a well-experienced motor underwriting professional for the following role:
The objective is to ensure quality in the motor underwriting being accepted, through exercise of adequate quality checks, portfolio management & underwriting guidelines.
- Experience of minimum 5 years in Motor Underwriting with portfolio management
- In-depth understanding of both Motor (Mandatory) & other personal lines products
- Logical thinking ability
- Sound analytical & solution-oriented mindset.
- Good presentation & communication skills
- Responsible for Motor business performance at Zone level & Portfolio management for specific partners Pan India
- Contribute to achieving the topline & LR targets as set by the management through regular reviews with all stakeholders.
- Contribute to price review exercise at regular intervals through market benchmarking & identifying the areas for correction.
- Liaison with all stakeholders (Sales, IT, Operations, Legal & Compliance) for all matters pertaining to Motor Business.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all the underwriting approvals & guidelines.
- Work with IT and Operations staff to ensure that business requirements are met and that customers are provided with a high level of service.
- Conduct trainings w.r.t. Motor products & UW processes.
- Internal & system Audit.
Reporting to:
DVP & Corp Underwriting Manager-Motor
External Qualification:
- MBA, graduate with post qualification course in insurance, AIII / FIII.
